  • Midwives or mothers in Sweden?

    I am a homebirth mother and nurse-midwife who will be spending a year in southern Sweden in 2015-16. Any like-minded mothers or midwives out there in southern Sweden or on Gotland? Or with any connections or advice for me regarding those areas? I'm nearly fluent in Swedish. Thanks so much! Ingrid

    Terrific. We have seriously considered homeschooling so this would not be a leap. So you do not need a license to practice in each country? Maybe I'm kidding myself in how much difference I make for my clients prenatally, but what about prenatal care and health history? How do you assure yoruself that a woman is appropriate for homebirth and ...
