  • Re: CPM vs CNM

Also, if you look at the NARM job analysis, you can see a sampling of educational backgrounds from the larger CPM community.  In 2010 this is what was found amongst respondants: 5. Highest level of non-midwifery education achieved. High school        41        9.0% Some ...
  • Re: CPM vs CNM

It seems to me the PEP process was/is/will continue to be fairly rigorous.  There are core areas of education expected and each candidate has to document everything: hours of study, skills evaluations, clinical experience....  (Have you looked at the Candidate Information Booklet?)  You can do self-study or complete an organized ...
  • Re: Severe Sugar Cravings

Hi!  Food-wise:  the body needs protein and MINERALS. Supplementing with chromium picolinate and/or Gymnema sylvestre (Ayurvedic herb though i don't know what its proper Ayurvedic name is) can both curb sugar cravings. Also maybe connect with an EFT practitioner.  There are powerful emotions connected to food cravings.   ...

  • Re: Where to get oral liquid Vitamin K for baby?

i seem to recall a recent article (study perhaps?) that said dietary vitamin K in the mother did not transfer well to the baby.  i want to remember they were discussing in utero transfer rather than via breastmilk, but my brain is all afog today and i can't put my hands on the information. does anyone know what the heck i'm talking ...
