  • Re: Whining...bad experience with nurse practitioner

Hi Aubre,   I've always been really  happy with my NP experiences too, until now.  I was quite surprised.  I think that because I expected better, I do feel more disappointed by the whole thing.  When I saw the doctor last year, I actually expected to have a bit of a fight and have to wrangle him a bit.  Plus, I ...

Thanks, April.  :-)  I know.  How did I think I would come out unscathed after seeking out the easiest, most convenient local option with no other criteria???  I'm searching again.  I'll ask some friends and make some phonecalls.  I've seen some great profiles online, but they are a good drive ...

  • Whining...bad experience with nurse practitioner

Hi all, It has been a very long time since I was here.  I'm happy to see a few of you "old timers" still about.  I need to vent, a little angry right now.  Probably serves me right for trying to take the easy way out. I've had a pretty uneventful couple of years regarding my GYN health.  I saw a new (male) ...

  • Re: TTC/ Expecting in 2010

Hi Bec!! I remember how you were hesitant to put your daughter into nursery school.  I'm glad she's doing well.  5 is a world different than 3 or 4.   Wow, way to go!!  I know you wanted to nurse longer this time around and you're still going.  That's great.  I'm glad its working out well for ...

  • Re: 4 days postpartum and still caput

Hi, April!! I had two babies with cephalahematomas and neither had the bruised discoloration.  I'm wondering if possibly this is what this babe is experiencing (though, you would be more experienced with this, since you help birth so many babes).  I did the arnica gel, but also the pellets, orally, dissolved in a little breastmilk ...

  • Re: Need opinions and suggestions Uterine Atony at my 4th birth!

April, I've been wanting to learn the mayan abdominal massage for years.  Where online did you learn the massage?  If you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks,

  • Re: Diva Cup

Well, I mustered up some courage, flipped my Diva inside out, and tried it.  It seems much better.  Its shorter, the suction isn't so strong, and its still easy to put in and take out.  I will try this from now on.

  • Re: Diva Cup

Need some Diva Cup advice!!!  You'd think I'd have it covered after using it for 5 years.  I've had two babies in that span and I'm sure my insides have changed a bit in that time, so maybe that's why I'm having some new troubles. This is the deal.  I can wear the cup comfortably for the first couple ...
