Wife of Samuel. Mother to Elisabeth, Freddy, Christa Joy, Daniel, Maggie Sue, Walter and Tommy Gunnar. Mother-in-law to Silas and Grandmother to Gideon. Veteran of one hospital birth followed by 6 home births. The first home birth was accidentally unassisted, the next two were midwife assisted, the next 3 were unassisted by design.
