    NY Times: Lights, Camera, Contraction!

If YouTube can illustrate how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, pick a lock and poach an egg, maybe it can also demonstrate how to give birth.

Saw this article in the print edition of this paper. For the most part the article was good. At the end wasn't good because I felt the comment wasn't good one.

Thanks for posting that link Jessica,

The You Tube debate will go on, I think it's great that we have it to debate!.

I find it to be a useful tool in a society where birth has been closeted for too many generations.  There are some births on there that will offend but I feel that for the most part an intelligent person watching a good spectrum of births on You Tube will come away with the knowledge that we are all different yet fundamentally the same and that birth is strong, possible, beautiful  in an variety of settings.

I have my favorites bookmarked that I share with mamas and papas and encourage them to preview them before they watch with children.

    Blessings,

There is a voice inside of you
    That whispers all day long,
"I feel this is right for me,
I know that this is wrong."
    No teacher, preacher, parent, friend
    Or wise man can decide
What's right for you--just listen to
    The voice that speaks inside."
