Thrush on baby orally and mom's nipples

What remedy have you found to work best in this case? It is quite a persistent case of thrush on a several weeks old baby and her mom's nipples.

    Thanks so much for suggestions!

First, make sure it's yeast because eczema can look/act like yeast on the nipples.

Oil of oregano capsules for mom

2 drops oil of oregano diluted in 1 tbs oilive  oil and rubbed on the soles of baby's feet

    probiotics--megadophilus--like crazy for mom

garlic garlic garlic and more for mom

    grapefruit seed extract for mom

    B complex for mom

    zinc supplement for mom

expose baby's bottom to the air several times a day

cinnamon in mom's diet (not cinnamon sugar)

    mom on "candida diet"

fish oil or flaxseed capsules for mom

    Thanks for the ideas!

How would you make sure it's not eczema?

She can have a nurse or doc take a look-see but usually eczema is itchy, flaky and dry looking ... which can mimic thrush.  If baby's got it, it's most likely thrush but ... if it's just mom showing signs/symptoms sometimes you just can't be sure and it's tricky because baby doesn't have to be showing any signs of it.  Everybody always thinks it will automatically show up in baby's mouth, but very frequently it doesn't.  Diaper rash especially angry looking? shiny? baby really gassy and fussy with burbling heard in baby's low gut area?

Besides all the great ideas already mentioned, there's Gentian Violet & Tea tree oil. As well as adding vinegar to rinse water of laundry.
