    quote help

     can any of you help me out with some affectionate quotes about midwives or tell me where to look for them . i am making something special for my midwife/friend . she just opened a new birthing center and i am handmaking her present .

     Big Smile i missed ya'll too . the break was good for me though. it made get mre active in my other groups . i met alot of friends who have children with the same birth defect or worse . the pic is m newest . she is 10 months old now . her names is AIBHLIN . it is an irish name just like KELLAN and DARON .  it means evelyn.

     thank you, heather . t was a great quote . not quite what i was looking for , but thought provoking none the less . i am looking more for a quote on the positive impact that midwives have on birth and mothering . in all senses , physically/emotionally/spiritually  .

     'God made mothers then realised they needed midwives'  My mum put this on the back of a quilt she made for me.
