We are a busy homebirth practice in Flagstaff, Arizona looking for a student. We typically require our students to be enrolled in a MEAC accredited program. We do not charge money to precept but do require 8 hours per week of volunteer hours in exchange for 8 hours of clinic hours. Students are required to be on-call for births but do get one weekend per month and two weeks per year off-call. We usually require 3 months of volunteering in our office prior to accepting a student application. Most of our students complete their CPM in about 3 years if they start with minimal experience.
