Canadian Midwife to be able to work in US

    Hello All

I am current practicing midwife in Canada and have completed my masters in Midwifery from Ontario Canada. I would like to work in the US. Based on the US practices I understand that there are restrictions in being able to work with the midwifery degree from Canada. My understanding is that I can only work as Nurse midwife in the US and that requires certification from from ACNM. Please correct me if I am wrong. I would really like to work if my degree can be accredited by US. How can proceed further. Any advice in this space will really help. Thank you in advance.
