Very supportive VBAC OB's or Midwives in Indiana?

     Hello Ladies!

I hope it is ok to post my question here...I am looking for a very supportive VBAC OB anywhere in Indiana.

I have a preterm classical incision and am planning a VBAC for my next birth, hence my difficulty finding someone to consider my request.

So far I have nearly eliminated all options near here (I have called all OBGYN offices and private Dr. Offices - the very few that do accept VBAC patients I have sent my OP report and cover letter, but almost all have replied with no). That is why I am looking further, I am willing to drive 3 hours, but I really hope to stay in Indiana for insurance reasons. I live in South Bend.

Does anyone have ANY names of OB's or Midwives that are pro VBAC in general that I could call and talk with? At this point we are hoping for a hospital birth, but I am open to homebirth if there is a Midwife out there that is comfortable with my history.

Thank you for any thoughts and leads...

    blessings, Sarah Gollner
