I would love to be a midwife, but I am afraid of to job opportunies during these bad economic times. Is it hard to find work now-a-days or are there opportunities right after schooling?

    Re: Opportunities

I would have to say that if any profession has security, it's being a midwife.  Babies are always coming. We are always needed in every economy. If  however, you are concerned about that then maybe midwifery is not the right path for you.  Midwifery is always a calling.

    "The Voice

There is a voice inside of you
    That whispers all day long,
"I feel this is right for me,
I know that this is wrong."
    No teacher, preacher, parent, friend
    Or wise man can decide
What's right for you--just listen to
    The voice that speaks inside."
