It says to introduce oneself in the midwife section, but since I am nothing more than a "wanna be", I feel silly doing that. So here I am.
I am a mother of three girls. 2 born unassisted at home. I absolutely believe in a womans ability to give birth and would likely give birth every 9 months if I felt like raising any more children right now were a responsible decsion for me.
In order to get my birth fix, I beg to photograph women's births, as it's pretty much all I'm qualified to do at the moment. ;) but just being present, is enough... for now.
I would absolutely LOVE to catch babies "full time". I know there's so much more to it than that, but the idea as a whole just gets me all giddy inside, like your first true love or something.
Alas, I live in a state that does not recognize CPM's and would never ever promote, encourage, or back a CNM attending home births.
So here I am, hoping to learn more from the community I one day hope to be a seasoned pro in. ;)
